Target Audience

The song and video would be aimed at people ages between 14 and 25 as this is the rough estimate of the of people that play FIFA the video game and would be old to recognise that the song is from a past games soundtrack.

Having a clearly defined target audience makes it easier to determine where and how to market my media product. Targeting a specific audience does not mean that I have to exclude people that do not fit my criteria from buying my product. A target audience just allows you to focus your money, time, research and brand message on a specific audience that is more likely to buy from you than other audience type.

The typical type of audience that listen to pop are mainly females but also males. It also tends to be younger audiences such as teenagers; this is because pop artists such as Olympic Ayres usually describe their mentality and childhoods through their music. This makes some audiences, especially teenagers, feel like they can relate to the artist.
